The Sermon Interactive Groups Topics are taught by our Senior Pastor, Geoff Patterson and the Pastoral team every Sabbath in the Spring. It is a time when everyone is encouraged to take part in a small group in which participants may discuss the themes that will be preached during the following Sabbath Morning worship service.
The Small Groups Leadership Equipping or Training Seminar is for first-time Facilitators and Hosts who are interested in providing a place and leadership for a group of up to 10 or 15 people. The class will also serve as a review for leaders who have facilitated groups before and would like a refresher or are willing to share their experiences with Sermon Interactive Small Groups.
Materials and handouts will be provided, so if planning on attending, you must register yourself and how many are coming with you so we may plan accordingly.
When the Class occurs right after the last church service of the morning, there will be a meal provided.
Small Groups Orientation Class in the Fall focuses on leading a 10-week group based on Christian themes related to spirituality, prayer and discipleship. Leaders are especially encouraged to invite people who don't attend their church but would appreciate the social and spiritual activity in a home setting.
